 Veronika Kalmus is Associate Professor of Media Studies in the Department of Journalism and Communication, University of Tartu, Estonia. She leads the research project "Children and young people in the emerging information and consumer society", financed by the Estonian Science Foundation, and participates in several other research projects, including "EU Kids Online".
She has published in international journals and collections of papers including Discourse & Society, Journal of Curriculum Studies, Journal of Baltic Studies and Media Literacy: A Reader (edited by D. Macedo and S. Steinberg, Peter Lang, 2007).
