 Andra Siibak is a Research Fellow of Media Studies and a PhD student in the Institute of Journalism and Communication, at the University of Tartu. Her PhD thesis is concerned with the online content creation habits of young people and their self-presentations on social networking websites. Currently she is a member of the research group of cultural communication studies in the Centre of Excellence in Cultural Theory and involved in the research projects "Children and young people in the emerging information and consumer society", financed by the Estonian Science Foundation, and "Construction and normalization of gender online among young people in Estonia and Sweden" financed by The Foundation for Baltic and East European Studies.
